Emraan Hashmi to turn Journalist in "Rush"

Emraan Hashmi, the Serial kisser of Bollywood is playing the character of an investigative journalist in the upcoming Shamin Desai directed Bollywood film ‘Rush’.

The film has been scheduled to be released on 26th October this year on the day of Bakra-Eid. Emraan Hashmi has started to prove that he is fit for any role offered to him beyond his serial kisser avatar.

While in ‘The Dirty Pictures’ audience was expecting a lot dirty shots from him at par with his image, he was seen as the only and most clean character in the film. In Dibaker Banerjee directed ‘Sanghai’ also he tried some different and succeed.

Sam, the character of Emraan in ‘Rush’ is a morally correct journalist with a top news channel, who gets entrapped in a deadly game engineered by some of his most trusted pals. Of course Sam is ready to tackle all these twists and how he finally handles the game, is the film all about.

Film pundits have reportedly opined that the film might have been inspired by John Grisham’s most popular novel ‘The Firm’, where actually the pivotal character was a young lawyer however here he is a journalist.

Music of the film has reportedly been scored by Pritam which includes some romantic as well as club tracks and the film stars Neha Dhupia, Sagarika Ghatge and Aditya Pancholi in a negative role along with Emraan. ‘Rush’ will be Emraan Hashmi’s next film after ‘Raaz 3’ in coming September.
