Anubhav Sinha, director of Shah Rukh Khan’s "Ra.One", is on the brink of making horror films with the title ‘Warning’. Sinha will go on producing one film each year with the same name containing famous horror tales all over the world.
Sinha is inspired by several horror franchises and has already bought remake right for the first production of the series.
Of course Sinha is not going to rope in any known stars for his horror films, at least not for the first of the series. The reason is that he wants to make justice with the characters of the script which actually could be better filmized with the actors whose credentials suit the character the most. In his words, “you choose the film and then the film chooses everyone else; a film decides everything on its own.”
Even he doesn’t have any plan to sign any star even in the second film of this series. However, for another production, which is to be directed by Sudhir Mishra, Sinha needs to take a celebrity star for the lead character.
Ra-One was probably the richest Bollywood film in terms of investment. But the film although earned a lot of money both before and after the release, could not be a blockbuster as it was expected. Let us see when Anubhav Sinha could not put a great impact with such huge money, let us wait and watch what magic he is showing with his horror films.
